TV show reviews: Lost – Part 1

The extravangza that is ‘Lost’, the most popular wide spread watched telivision show ever created. The drama within the show takes the audience through a rip of emotion as they get involved with the characters theyve spent hours observing. Theres no other way to describe lost other than a phanomanom. To kickstart the new season of lost ive based the article on a brief recap of season 3, an analysis of the hit season four episode ‘The beginning of the end’, my, thoughts and some secrets you may not no or have picked up on.

ABC’s hit drama is back again for another season, how many episode’s will be aired at the moment is a mystery. Eight episodes will be shown through out the year until filming resumes whenever the writers strike ends, which i fully respect because writers deserve more recognition and pay than they currently lack. Anyway Season four is set to be extrodanery after the opening episode of ‘The Beginning Of The End’, it was a great dramatic way to steed into action again after the last three Seasons.

A very Brief recap of Season 3

The story continues 67 days after the initial Oceanis flight 815 crash. New crash survivors and ‘The Others’ led by ‘Ben’ are introduced. As the crash survivors learn about the Others and their history on the mysterious island a war is set to bur between both sides, ‘The Others’ hold many answers to the island, their mysterious and brute force ways obviously cause tension between themselves and the crash survivors, its the main conflict of the show. A war between the Others and the survivors comes to a head, after much deliberation and soul searching within themselves (Hurley) the survivors finale make contact with the outside world through women said to be on a boat named the freighter, a search party from Penelope (Desmond’s lover) looking for the survivors. Although we gain an insight and information into how the survivors may be saved we are still unsure about why ‘Ben’ sais ‘it’s the beginning of the end’, and who Penelope really is because charlie’s last message before he dies is that the boat supposedly a rescue boat isn’t Penelope’s. Who are they?

A secret in Season 2.

If you can remember back to season 2 when Penelope was searching for Desmond, we got a clip of the icecaps and two men playing chess in a bunker when they found the co-ordinates for the lost island. If you have watched the season 3 finale then you will know that Penelope is picked up on an incoming transmission in “the looking glass”
