Why celebrity girls go bad

Celebrity’s girls go badly because they don’t have enough guidance in their lives. They don’t really have some they could trust to caught them when they falling down. Most of the people around them are gold diggers; they’re people that are out for them. All they want is money; they don’t care enough about the girls to help them. And we all know more bad things they do, more publicity they get. Some of those girls do crazy things to get more fame and publicity. Some of them didn’t plan to go far; they probably just wanted to have some fun. But somehow things got out of hand and it’s very hard to get yourself back on the horse.

Those of us that are not celebrities do wrong too. But at least we have good friends and families that we can rely on to help us. When the pressure gets too much, they don’t have someone to tell them that it’s enough. Or if they do have a parent, most of them just want a piece of the fame. The parent’s gets blind sided by money and stop paying attention to their kids and needs. When they should be telling them to take a break, they pressure them instead to work harder. Or in some case, the parents are the ones partying with the kids. Because the kids are rich and famous, they spoiled them and they don’t give them boundaries.

They need people in their life to held them understand how life works. They need good role model not people who’s going to parties with them. They need people that care for them. Some of them get in this business to early; they didn’t have a chance to grow up. And by the time they realizes that, it’s usually too late. They not to be judge they need help.. We all make mistake in our lives, some of us more that others. The only difference is that they in the public eyes, they get criticized more. We’re not better than them; some of them are doing the same things our kids are doing. They just need love, support, and guidance from those closer to them. And they also need us to stop judging.

As time gets tougher, people look at television as a form of escape from the realities in life. Life is too hard now that many people find ways to escape the pressures in life. Many people prefer watching soap operas to forget the crisis that is engulfing the world of today. It is something that helps people to busy their mind with rather than thinking of stressful things like where to find work and how much to earn the next day.

Television has become an indispensable company for all kinds of people, from the young to the old to the rich and the poor. Even the busiest of all people could find time to switch on the television and have a few minutes with it while doing something in the kitchen. Television is a good company as one is preparing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are the only free time for very busy mothers and wives.

In this computer age, we could see television on public transportation, bus stations, hotel lobbies, waiting areas in clinics and hospitals and almost every place that people standby and wait. People seem to forget their problems, the stress in their work, the tedious school work and the monotonous cycle of everyday life when they watch entertaining programs in televisions. As time gets tougher, people find ways to divert their attention to more stress-free activities. Television tend to make life easier by entertaining people and weaning them away for a while from the chaotic world of today.

Television is so important especially to those who often find life too difficult to cope. With television, people who could hardly make ends meet have something to busy their minds with and make situations seem easier to handle. Television is a form of escape from the realities in life. When life is too hard, one could find joy in watching television. The joy of watching television gives one who is in a difficult situation the outlet that he needs. Television could do wonders to someone who is desperate. Even for a while, one needs that part in his life when he could experience being rich and successful like what he is watching on television.

As the new F1 Grand Prix season gathers pace there is a growing excitement among racing fans, the departure of Michael Schumacher from Ferrari has left a void in the motor racing world both for Ferrari and for motor racing fans in general.

The good news of course is that Lewis Hamilton has already stepped into the void and has become the new focus for much media attention, Ferrari will lament the fact that they never got the chance to sign this new exciting talent but what are the odds on Lewis driving for Ferrari in the near future?

One of the great spectacles of F1 racing is the colour and razzmatazz can be seen at the circuits on race day, each circuit location has its loyal followers and of course these numbers are swelled by the travelling fans who follow motor racing. The colours are vibrant for each team which is reflected through the fans, there is a growing trend to wear F1 clothing from the top teams and you will now see everything form race suits to jackets and caps at each circuit.

The wearing of F1 team clothing was driven by the success of glamorous teams such as Ferrari, McLaren and Jordan, this has now been so popular that you will see all the popular team colours worn in everyday life and of course supermodels such as Jordan herself has regularly been pictured in the yellow of her F1 team namesake.

Of course the glamorous lifestyle of the top racing drivers and their accompanying entourage is a great advert for these new styles and people want to be like their role models. The coverage on television is now spread over two days with the interviews and pre-race coverage profiling the F1 bandwagon in all its glory.

At Silverstone the crowd was alive with excitement and the stands were a sea of flags, colour and regalia for Lewis Hamilton. The sheer excitement of the qualifying session could be felt almost through the television screen and one could sense that when Lewis hit the hot lap in the final seonds that every lounge in the UK was full of fans leaping around waving flags.

Of course it is not just flags, fans are wearing t-shirts and drinking their tea in mugs whilst sporting all amnner of merchandise. The increase in demand for this type of sports clothing has now led to teams really starting to work on their merchandise.

Perhaps the most striking evidence of this increase is the emergence of the top F1 teams into the retail market through the Internet, all have now heavily invested into this arena and of course they are feeding a growing market.

The sales through Internet channels are boosted by Ebay and Kelkoo and of course Froogle (the Google shopping portal), it is predicted that this market will double over the next 12 months and the renewed interest in F1 thanks to Lewis Hamilton and competitive racing will influence this further.

Such is the importance of image and design now in this growing market that fashion designers and fashion moguls have been seconded in to create the latest stunning range of fashionable merchandise, a look at the latest range of apparel will reveal a stunning line of clothing, a second look will reveal this clothing not just at the trackside but also in the playground, the park, the High St and all aspects of everyday life.

In fact it is not just the adult males who are wearing it, the trend has migrated to teenagers wearing caps and t-shirts and youngsters who want to be wearing the latest Ferrari or McLaren race suit when they are playing in the garden and it has also taken F1 fashion to the female population. The fact that it is quite normal now to see a lady walking down the street in the latest clothing and this shows just how far this trend has gone because the ultimate purveyors of fashion are women.

Yes the new season is reaching new heights and even though Lewis didnt win at Silverstone he still made the podium and still leads the championship. The battle for the drivers and constructors championship is warming up and the competition in ‘retail land’ looks set to be heating up too.

Why we care so much about celebrities – Part 2

The public’s growing fascination with celebrities borders on obsession. Sadly, celebrity-watching and gossip-mongering have become woven into the pattern of society and almost as popular as apple pie and baseball. Because celebrities have larger than life personas, their actions assume far greater significance than those of average citizens that engage in similar activities. Not only do these starlets and studs have youth, beauty and fame, but also they have seemingly unlimited disposable income, freedom and privileges, which means that jet-setting, frolicking, and misbehaving are inevitable – much to our delight.

Next, it’s a fun challenge just keeping pace with the current fashion trends and hottest it’ couple on the scene. We crave stories about Lindsay’s wacky paparazzi mishaps, Britney’s love life and parenting woes, Nicole’s weight fluctuations, and Paris’ scandalous shenanigans. These celebrity stunts only fuel our desire to learn even more details about their lives, especially when it involves bad behavior. Ironically, the negative press serves as a great equalizer that humanizes these otherworldly beings, bringing them down to earth.

Furthermore, reality television shows have given the ‘average’ Joe an opportunity to experience almost instant fame; the more absurd and inappropriate the behavior, the longer their 15 minutes extends. Can you say, Omarosa? In fact, numerous reality show stars have launched successful careers or parlayed their brief stints in reality TV world into lucrative gigs that last far beyond their humble beginnings. Let’s face it we, ourselves, are not immune to celebrity fever. The reality is that most of us secretly fantasize that we’re just one lucky ‘break’ away from being celebrities ourselves, given the right set of circumstances.

Finally, celebrity-watching makes people feel as though they’re indirectly, but somehow personally involved, in the lives of their favorite stars. After all, with the help of a few unscrupulous paparazzi, almost no area of a celebrity’s life is off limits or sacred. As such, we are privy to some of the most private events in a celebrity’s life, practically real time. Personal vacations, a newborn’s baptismal pictures, private weddings, and other intimate moments, unintended for public consumption, have a price.

Ultimately, following celebrity lifestyles affords the average citizen vicarious enjoyment of the world through the eyes of the celebrity. This perspective offers a brief glimpse into an unimaginably rich and privileged existence that we would otherwise never experience in our own lifetimes

Who will win 2008 Super Bowl XLII: New England Patriots vs. New York Giants?

My champagne’s on ice.

And like the members of the 1972 Dolphins who’ve celebrated in each and every season for the past 34 years when the last previously-undefeated team falls from the ranks of the unbeaten, I plan to pop the cork when the Giants snap the Patriots unbeaten string in this year’s Super Bowl. No, my reasoning’s not rational. I know. You don’t have to tell me that. It’s emotion. Pure and simple. Straight from the heart.

You see, I moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1972. Quickly got caught up in the landscape and the frenzy of an undefeated football season, capped off with a 14-7 win over the Washington Redskins in the L.A. Coliseum in Super Bowl VII. I fell in love with that team, with those players.

Times were different back then. Much different.

For one thing, players weren’t millionaires. They worked regular jobs in the off-season because they had to, to make ends meet. Manny Fernandez worked at an interior decorator’s shop right next door to where I worked. I can still see his car parked outside in front of the shop. Back then, players didn’t live in gated communities, they lived in the neighborhood. Larry Csonka lived in Plantation, about half a mile away from where I lived. Players didn’t have elaborate training facilities back then. Bob Kuchenberg, Jim Langer, Vern Den Herder, and Tim Foley worked out at a small gym in West Hollywood. The same gym where I worked out. I did bench presses and curls with those guys. And the players were approachable back then. Every Friday, they got together at a neighborhood bar on Hollywood Boulevard. If you wanted to hang with them, have a beer with them, shoot the bull with them, you went there and did it. No security. No bodyguards. And no one back then knew the meaning of the word “entourage,” let alone had one.

Sure, there were some minor inconveniences to deal with. Like TV blackouts. In fact, the first playoff game, played at home in the Orange Bowl, was blacked out in Miami. If you wanted to see it, you had to get out of town. At least 75 miles away. Fortunately, I had a buddy with a pilot’s license. So four of us rented a Cessna, flew to Fort Myers, and watched the Dolphins beat the Browns on a small black-and-white TV in the airport lounge.

That’s why I’m picking the Giants. No X’s and O’s to consider. No injury reports to ponder. No regard for game plans, who makes better halftime adjustments, or who’s spying on whom. The only thing that matters to me is the final score. And I don’t care what it is, as long as the Giants have one more point than the Patriots.

It’s selfish, and it’s personal. It’s for me, and for all the members of the 1972 Dolphins. Thanks, guys. Thanks for the memories. Thanks a million.

Go Giants.

Celebrities you love to hate

They are everywhere! The exceedingly rich and famous celebrities dominate our lives. They show up on your televisions screens, in the perfume aisles of department stores, and on the radio. If you live with no television, and never leave your house, you may be lucky enough to escape their antics. Unfortunately, everyone is exposed to celebrities almost on a daily basis. There are a few celebrities that really court a love/hate relationship with the public. One can not write and article about celebrities you love to hate with out including Britney Spears and Lidnsay Lohan.

Britney Spears makes my list of celebrities I love to hate. If you just looked at her career, you will find a bubble gum pop singer with little talent. The biggest draw fans had to her was her body. Her songs have no artistic value. Look at “I’m a Slave 4 U”, she says “Don’t you wanna dance upon me” over and over through out the song. What her songs have, is catchy overused hooks, and a beat. Looking at her private life, and I use the word private loosely, it is in shambles. Her love of excess has helped drive her over the edge. Excessive partying and drinking, has driven her to the point where she can not make intelligent decisions. She has been in and out of rehab, shaved her head, and put her children in jeopardy by not taking care of them properly. No good mother would ever have her child ger her cigerettes, or not secure them properly in the car. The result is Britney losing her kids to their father.

The next celebrity I positively love to hate, is just annoying. William Shatner has to be the worst actor on the face of the planet. From his woman conquering days on “Star Trek” to his irritating commercials with Priceline, he just proves over and over again that talent is not a requirement in Hollywood. These days he is just a joke, so nauseatingly bad at what he does that you just have to watch in some kind of strange fascination. Unbelievably enough, Mr. Shatner is an even worse singer than actor. He has enough faith in his talent that he put out an album. I am hard pressed to say he is a singer. All of his “songs” are him sort of talking. Which is called “spoken word”. Want to annoy your friends? Play his album.

You knew she was going to be on here. You did not think i could forget coke snorting, drunken, crotch baring Lindsay Lohan, did you? What ever happened to the cute kid from the Disney movies? She turned into one of the biggest train

How celebrity status is attained – Part 1

When will America re-align its collective values and begin to place celebrity status where it really belongs? Who decided that someone with exceptional God-given physical ability, which we define as athleticism, is worth the exorbitant salaries which they receive? Who decided that the entertainment community should command such outrageous salaries? Why have Americans become so enamored with “stardom” that we lose sight of reality for a taste of fantasy. Why does the entertainment industry have to have so many awards show to further perpetuate the enormous egos of the already overpaid entertainers?

There is often such a thin line between the athlete who manages to cross the line from amateur to professional and he who falls just short, never achieving a life-long dream. Yet one is rewarded with undreamed of wealth while the other may end up with a seemingly meaningless 9 to 5 job. Similarly, with actors and entertainers, one’s career may hinge on an “experts” opinion of whether he or she has the “it” quality. Many of todays celebrity athletes are able to achieve greater success for reasons that go beyond athleticism. For some, it was circumstance, being in the right place at the right time. For some, it may have been performance enhancing substances. For some, it was being surrounded by great players who made them appear better than they might otherwise have been (e.g. Heisman Trophy winners who never succeeded in professional football).

“American Idol” chooses a wannabe celebrity by a popular vote. History has shown that very few of these winners have gone on to true celebrity status as measured by their recording success. Many of these stars have been outshone by those who were not chosen.

Actors and actresses often attain their celebrity by their appearance as much as by their talent. Who is the most famous “ugly” person you know? Talent might better be measured by those who succeed in live performances than on the “big screen”. Who among us has the opportunity for retakes in our jobs until we get it right. Does the surgeon get a do-over if he amputates the limb of the wrong patient? Does the pharmacist get a do-over if he places the wrong medication in the vial or in the patient’s IV bag? Does the auto mechanic get a do-over if he forgets to refill the brake fluid, resulting in a fatal crash? Given enough do-overs, most of us could give a pretty convincing performance. And if that’s not enough, should an actor be incapable

Your reactions to the trend of foreign child adoption among celebrities – Part 2

October 29, 2009 by gossip dog

When thinking about why a celebrity would adopt anywhere but America, I’d strictly say because of their image. What celebrity wouldn’t want to be seen in third world countries interacting with the people and visiting it’s local orphanages? It makes them look like a saint. Are they truly a saint? Hell no! I say this because, even though adoption is a very giving, unselfish thing to do in the case of a normal parent, it is utterly an accessory of power for a celebrity “parent”.

Why do I think this? Look at it this way, to anybody else, having a child is a wonderful blessing, and shouldn’t be taken advantage of, whilst those of us who can’t have children desperately want one, so we adopt, that child is our world. When a celebrity does it, they could have children, but they choose to adopt to give a child a good home. No, they don’t want to help someone around here, they want one from some struggling country like Cambodia or Africa. It’s selfish because oftentimes it helps build their image. Some celebrities even cut down white children because they’re NOT foreign! That’s racist in a whole new instance. What child would want to have to worry about their own mother being racist to them? A perfect example is Angelina Jolie. Many tabloids and sources say that she looks down on her one biological daughter, Shiloh, for being white. She made the baby, she better love it! Babies are babies, black, white, purple, pink, and they should be loved as such.

It almost seems like a publicity stunt to have foreign children. The paparazzi can’t wait to find them on an outing together so they can snap away. Children aren’t accessories. It’s ridiculous that they don’t help out children in the United States who need homes. It’s ridiculous and pathetic that they can’t even help out children who really need help in their own back yard! Oh, lets go to Sudan and get a baby, the ones here are no good. The latest designer baby is an Asian one! What? Are you kidding me? That’s what it looks like to me when I see celebrities with foreign adopted babies.

Madonna does a good job of keeping her African-adopted son out of the spotlight, which I appreciate on her part. Madge shows us how to treat a child right. She has two kids of her own and even though it’s great that she adopted, I do think It would’ve been proper to adopt a kid from the UK, but this is good too. Angelina does it in a way that is snobby. To only value the foreign children is like taking the fake over the designer! It’s all the rage but it’s so wrong! Some celebrities do it right, also like Meg Ryan, by not showing them off like a new handbag.

They could step foot in the nastiest slums in the world but when it comes to the slums here, they won’t budge. “It’s the ghetto, it’s nasty, the losers live there”. When it comes to other countries, the slums are gold to them! Doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Excuse me while I ramble, but if you can do that, you most certainly can go to an American ghetto.

Sure, they make those kid’s lives wonderful, shower with them with gifts, clothes, toys, but think about those kids who sit around waiting for someone great to adopt them, but get snubbed thanks to some power-hungry celebrity? The children who really deserve the love and affection are those who’ve been waiting for it here. Why not reach out? It’s terrible to take all of those chances away from kids here to live in a privileged household where you get everything you could ever want, and the chances are steadily getting lower and lower. I wish they’d take it to heart when they adopted.

Celebrity gossip: Paris Hilton & Britney Spears – Part 9

October 29, 2009 by gossip dog

I am so sick of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears both I cringe when I hear their names spoken. Evidently Lindsay Lohan is trying to compete with those two now. It seems every other month one of these celebrities has pulled another atrocious stunt to gain publicity, either through thinking they are above the laws that pertain to the rest of the world or through lack of using their mental faculties or both.

The media, of course, loves sensationalism and is perpetuating all the hype surrounding these two young women by giving them air time. They especially do this when they have nothing else of major importance to cover. They know they will retain more viewers with stories about young women with loose morals than they will with yet another police pursuit of some idiot who thought they could outrun the police cars and helicopters on the freeway. Hence, we are subjected to stories of a young woman flashing her privates in a car, shaving her head, endangering her childen’s lives or driving under the influence without a driver’s license at a high rate of speed. All the while, these young women laugh all the way to the bank.

As a mother, I have to wonder what kind of, if any, training their parents gave them as they grew up. Britney Spears, for example, had breast enhancement surgery while still a teenager in order to attract members of the opposite sex which would boost her album sales and her career! As a parent, I would have never allowed, much less encouraged, my daughter to have the surgery or to dress seductively! From the time of her surgery forward, Spears became more and more suggestive in her manner of dress and body language on stage and one would have to think that having been underage at the time the parents condoned that type of behavior. I have to wonder if they now regret earlier decisions after she has made a total wreck of her life and that of her children’s lives. I certainly hope so.

Paris Hilton acts like the spoiled brat she is. She obviously thinks she is above the law and society’s rules do not apply to her. I do not care who you are, if you break the law you need to be punished the same as any other person would be. For judges to afford these celebrities with what amounts to a nice private hotel room with priveleges unheard of for other citizens is a slap in the face to the rest of us. It also sends a dangerous wrong message to the younger generation who already often do not realize the harshness of jail sentences which they could face for partying too hard.

I would love to see these young women serve the time deserved for their inappropriate behaviors in the same manner we would have to. I would also like to see them have some serious counseling for their own benefit as well as the rest of us. The younger crowd in Hollywood all need to stop and think of how their actions affect their younger, impressionable fans. My child is now grown but had these young women been popular Hollywood names when my child was at home, there is no way I would have allowed anything in my house with which they were involved with in any form or fashion.
